We have run this lathe & it all works well. All gears including the bull gear are intact & in good condition. Despite its age, the ways on this lathe look in excellent condition, with little to no obvious signs of wear.
This lathe would be perfect for a home hobbyist or small workshop. The Model C Lathe has a plain apron and is not fitted with a gearbox. Screw cutting is achieved using conventional pick off gears. There is no power feed available with this machine.
